So I'm going to put myself on hiatus for the next week. I may still be around at night, but it's likely I'm going busy entertaining a guest.
Back late next week and by that time, I hope to finish my Anderson narrative (which is like 3000 words now and still not done!) and maybe get some play in and do my apps and all those other things I need to get accomplished.

For everyone who watches Glee (and that should be all of you), remember when Finn tried to get Quinn to name the baby Drizzle? I just realized that my Chinese name translates to "evening drizzle" in English so all this time I could have been going by the best name EVER. Not that I dislike Sophia but I could have been totally unique, you guys. XD
I finished my first ST app though ahahaha only a week late omg I am so bad at apping! Someone please tell me that this cookoff thing is still going on because I will be SO SO SAD if I missed it.

I am staying in the computer lab at school as long as possible because it is a freaking boiler room compared to the weather outside, and I REALLY am not looking forward to biking home.
Tomorrow is my last day of finals and then I am freeeeee! And by free I mean work on my lit premade game. I'm still only 1/4 complete with all of the premade blurbs, but I definitely have ideas for most of them.
I still have to send PSU my updated transcript since I'm not properly linked in their dual enrollment system. >.< I hope they receive it soon so I can register for my classes over there and actually make some headway on my degree.
Tomorrow I have my history final and then drama and I still have to study more for both of them. I love being so last-minute about this stuff. It isn't stressful at aaaaallllll (/sarcasm). Mom wants to watch Julie & Julia tonight so we'll see how much prep work I actually get done before getting up at 7 AM tomorrow to rush to the library with a can of Viso in my hand. History is a multiple choice/long answer/short essay clusterfuck of awesome like the midterm was, but my Drama final is different. We were given a prompt to think about over the weekend and have to write a scene out in play format tomorrow morning with only our books and one page of notes. THAT'S the final I'm worried about. Even with all of the RP I do and have done over the years I don't feel like I'm terribly creative and I don't know if I will do this very well. Tonight is mostly going to be me blocking this thing out and defining what the story arc is going to be.

I would like to use Nathan Fillion at Dread. Or perhaps Matthew Goode. Or perhaps both. But I have no more ideas atm. If I did both I would probably make M. Goode another military character. Maybe like a flight controller for the fighter pilots or some shit. I have no clue for Fillion though.
So uh anyone need/want any characters played I could use either of them for?

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?
Because my f-list has just EXPLODED with drama
and apparently my character is part of some of it?
And apparently what ship I can or cannot play is being dictated by someone who plays neither/none of the characters involved?
Clearly I don't have the whole story yet, but here's an idea:
If you're threatening to quit over a potential ship in a game, maybe you should just quit, because clearly you cannot handle the serious business that is IJ HP RP.
ETA: None of these comments of mine are regarding the issues people have with the incest sl. I, personally, do not have issues with it, but I can 100% understand said issues and would not dream of criticizing anyone for having them or being uncomfortable in a game where it's going on. (Neither am I criticizing the players for writing that into the character history; it's a dark-shit family and...yeah. Basically both sides of this one are legit.)
It's the thing where apparently we're going to be dictated to about a non-dark ship because someone else in game just doesn't like it? Yeah, that's what's fucking pissing me off.

So I took a "nap" at like 8 (sorry for falling sleep on you Wes and Rae!) and then woke up at 12. I have been going for the past 3 hours just poking around at things. I feel crazy right now.
OH YEAH I TOTALLY FUCKING HIT 30K FOR RPWRIMO+ SATURDAY AFTERNOON. I'M A FUCKING G. SUCK IT, NERDS!
We got two new players at Earth's Mightiest! I am so excited. They are nicer than all of you who haven't joined. Because clearly they love me while you jerks do not.
Another thing, I got to game jumping thanks to Kati's RP history thing. There are a whole bunch of games and characters that I miss that I would love to play again. But that will probably never happen :(. Unrelatedly... lord I am just dying at Batman's weekly on duty posts at Metrotower. That is so much commitment to a bit, I am really floored by it. I should come up with a bit like that for EM.
edit Working on something pointless in GIMP that looks really lame. Oh well! You guys will probably see the finished product tomorrow. Going to sleep now.

This guy I grew up across the street from, who is the same age as my little brother and good friends with him, was apparently watching the Nutcracker play that our elementary school did every year with the first graders. The year he and my brother were in it, obviously. This play was seriously lame, with the same dumb script every year, but adorable because every kid in the grade had a part. When I was in it, I got to be a dancing snowflake. When my little brother did it, he was a mouse, and our neighbor friend Dustin was a nonmagical partygoer. (He got to deliver the memorable line, "A cookie is a cookie and a cupcake is a cupcake.") My older brother was a snow guard and stood against the back wall, because there were too many kids and not enough parts that year.
Anyway, Dustin took a couple pictures of the screen and posted them on Facebook. So here is my little brother back in 1992!

In other news, I'm downloading episodes of Meet The Browns because Renee's PB is in it. I already had one episode she's in, and I really like her hair - shoulder-length and curly, and her makeup is more natural-looking than in Bratz. I'm hoping to get some decent icons from it, but the episodes I download aren't really great quality, so I don't know how successful it'll be.
